For those of you that knew about my freefall jump for children in need, as you can see I landed safely. xx Sun, Sep. 25th, 2005, 02:00 pm into the Fall
Well the year is moving on and an update on life in the world of Ol must be given. The last few months have been interesting. First teaching year out of the way and workload has reduced courtesy of a change of planning style meaning I can actually start produce more artwork again. The summer saw Myself and Jonny travel up through Sweden to norway and back down (PHOTO INSERT: Sweden/Norway Border "Narvik"). Alas I am in the world of the singleton again as myself and Deb have seperated but I have to say she has been brilliant and in terms of breakups it's been good (if that's a word you can really use?) Friends for life. I've been painting the barn 'fireside' red which is a kinda terracotta and also started printing up some of my photos large format. I've had various peeps online and off asking about copies of my photos and there will be a website online soon to sell a few limited prints I'll email those interested wth details. I'm teaching 12 students this year which makes life easier and spending time either playing World of Warcraft (pop onto argent dawn and wisper Olivius if your online peeps), looking forward to City of Villians in a month or so; people interested in MMORPG's will know what I'm talking about. apart from that I'm saving up for holiday next year, haven't decided where yet; possibly sweden or barcelona again otherwise zimbabwe (victoria falls), japan, new zealand... depends on costs and who I'm going with. Anyway enough for now, hope you're all well fellow livejournalists, take care, Olly x
Today heralded a trip with Jonny to see the festival's "Luminarium" offering. For more photos see my flickr photo archive. Tue, Apr. 5th, 2005, 09:07 am Comrade Boris

just incase anyone ever needs to know, an RAC breakdown van cannot make it to the 11th floor of Norwich's Riverside Car Park... ..however the little man inside can so despite having to wait from 5pm until 7:40pm for him to arrive all was well with what could have been an awkward vehicle recoevery had he not fixed my car by simply spraying a few connections.

a ha.. cow tower: also, now back from doctors and thankfully my tonsils are fine; it's a "general infection" as he termed it. 7 days worth of penicillin to conter it is the solution apparently.

have a rather sore throat today so am conserving energy until doctor's appointment this afternoon; have a funny feeling it may be tonsil related, tho' I hope not as I really need to be illness free for the next few weeks while I finish my post-grad studies and practice... fingers crossed. Other News: This snippet from the EDP looks cool, I may check it out: "Vikings made a return visit to Norwich on Saturday to help launch an exciting new history trail and competition. Warrior Falco and friends caused a stir when they set up camp at the Forum to promote the trail, which starts at Cow Tower, Riverside, and takes in Viking sights across the city. It is one of a series of events leading up to a special celebration at Cow Tower during the May Bank Holiday weekend, when there will be a chance to see longships and follow the trail with county archaeologist Brain Ayres. Vikings settled in Norwich from the 880s and by 1000AD there was a mix of Anglo-Saxons and Scandin-avians. Copies of the trail leaflet are available from the Forum and city hall along with a form to enter the competition to win a trip to Legoland in Denmark. Other events include a Viking craft demonstration and coin making at the Forum on Saturday, talks on Vikings at Norwich Castle on May 29 and a living history day at Norwich Cathedral on May 29."

Took a journey partly random trip around the wilds of north norfolk on saturday with Jonny and Deb, nice day out and it's good to see things in the same county that I've never seen before. We stopped at the following:1. Noroflk Children's Book Centre - Alby (Wind Powered book shop) where deb spent £15 of mine in a rather nice bound facsimilie editon of Winne the Pooh. 2. Letheringsett Watermill (Where we encountered an unpassable river ford) 3. Stiffkey, Blakeney and Wells 4. Binham Priory (Gorgeous ruins) Norfolk Article - Binham Priory in Norfolk5. Fakenham Safeway for provisions. 6. Foxley Wood (not explored due to knackeredness) 7. North Elmham Cathedral Ruin (First Cathedral in Noroflk 1077)
